Fast and Gentle Batch Mixer for Bulk Solids and Mixing of Liquids

The most important requirements for a modern mixing process are combined in the Batch Mixer MBZ: Homogeneous mixtures, short mixing times, product-friendly mixing and good accessibility for cleaning purposes.

The mixing time is between 10 and 240 seconds and depends on the properties of the products to be mixed. The Batch Mixer MBZ is available in five sizes with a net filling volume of between 200 and 3000 liters.

The two driven mixing shafts build a zone in the center of the mixer, in which the product is fluidized. In this fluidized zone, the quasi-floating particles are mixed into a complex dynamic process by the optimized shape and position of the mixing tools. Since the mechanical load on the products is very low, even very sensitive products can be mixed.

Depending on the size, the Batch Mixer MBZ is equipped with one or two large cleaning doors, through which any point in the mixing chamber can be easily reached for cleaning purposes. The cleaning can be done both dry and wet. In one end of the mixer, two closable openings are provided, through which the cleaning liquid can drain during a wet cleaning.

Optionally, the batch mixer can be equipped with a liquid addition. In this case, the liquid is sprayed with one or more nozzle heads into the suspension zone of the product.

The drive is operated by a spur gear motor (no chain overdraw) and two bevel gears, with which the mixer shafts are synchronized. The shaft passages are sealed using a lip seal and air purge.
