Simple Sampling in Down Pipes

Sampler DPS is used to extract powder and granulate samples from down pipes and funnels through which the product falls or slides.

Sampler DPS is particularly suitable for simple applications without any special hygienic requirements. Nevertheless, for cleaning purposes it is easy to disassemble and can be completely wet-cleaned.

The sampler consists of a piston which is operated by a linear cylinder. For sample taking, the piston is extended until it is in the product stream. After the piston is filled, it is returned and the sample is emptied in a sample container. The sampler is equipped either with a solenoid valve (24V / DC) operated by the system controller or optionally with a manual pneumatic valve.

To install the sampler, an ISO clamp socket with a size of 2 1/2” is welded in the down pipe or funnel. The clamp socket is included in scope of delivery. The permissible overpressure or negative pressure in the system is 50 mbar.

On-site operation is both possible as pneumatic control and as electronic control with adjustable sampling intervals.

When the sampler is integrated into a process control system, fully automatic sampling is possible. In this case, an additional sample can also be taken by hand at any time. Documentation of the sampling is possible via corresponding messages in the control system.

Sampler DPH is used to extract powder and granulate samples from down pipes and funnels through which the product falls or slides. However, sampling from a standing product column is not possible.

Sampler DPH is particularly suitable for use in the food and pharmaceutical industry. For cleaning purposes the sampler can be dismantled and can be completely wet-cleaned.

Free cross-section in resting condition

Sampler DPE is used to extract powder and granulate samples from down pipes and funnels through which the product falls or slides. However, sampling from a standing product column is not possible.

The special feature of this sampler is that it retracts completely from the down pipe in the resting condition and therefore does not provide an attack surface for unwanted deposits.

Sampler DPE is particularly suitable for use in the food and pharmaceutical industry. For cleaning purposes the sampler can be dismantled and can be completely wet-cleaned.
